"I’m sorry, but the circus is closed right now. It’s the off season. I can, however, tell your fortune for a dollar. Come on, aren’t you curious to know what the future holds?"
"Generally speakin’, ma’am, th’ future I’ve seen fo’ myself ain’t exactly much in th’ way of good. But hey, I’m not exactly an expert regardin’ these matters.”
Remy nods his head to the woman with a friendly smile, red and black eyes hidden behind sunglasses as usual. “So if it wouldn’t put you t’any trouble, I’d love t’have my fortune told.”
She smiles and holds out her hands, inviting him to sit and place one hand in hers. She can sense something special about this one, so she decides to dig for a little background information, her fingertips gently tracing the lines of his palm.
"The future can always change, you know." It’s almost said like a joke, with an easy smile she reserves for customers. "But it’s good to have an open mind about these things." She decides to take a peek at what his future really holds, even though she normally doesn’t waste any magic on simple fortunes. What she sees is strange and confusing, too blurred and subject to change for her to make anything out clearly, so she simply smiles and stares at her reflection in his glasses. "You will meet a beautiful woman and gain enormous wealth. You will find satisfaction in your life and your work, and will be called a great man." Again, it sounds like she’s joking. It’s cliche enough to be one, anyway. She holds out her hand. "That would be one dollar, please."
